A native of Shreveport, Lan graduated from Tulane University and holds a Master’s Degree from Loyola University of New Orleans. She began her media career at WGNO-TV before moving to WVUE, the ABC affiliate in New Orleans. She moved to Colorado in 1985 as owner/partner in KRTZ-FM, and eventually acquired KVFC and KDGO. Moving on from radio, in 2000 she founded Lanmark Productions, which quickly became the premier specialty advertising firm in the area. In 2014 she created Tiger by the Tail, continuing in specialty advertising and adding magazine publication. Having sold Tiger by the Tail, she now devotes her time to Tiger Lily Gallery, combining all of the above and expanding to ever wider horizons.
Bill grew up in Nashville, and attended Johns Hopkins University. After living in New York for several years, he relocated to New Orleans where he began his career in broadcasting. He worked with Lan at WGNO-TV before moving to WWL, where he worked in news, sports and documentary production. In the 1980’s, he produced and engineered the New Orleans Saints Radio & TV network. He partnered with Lan in the three radio stations listed above before opening a radio consulting firm, where he worked with more than fifty radio stations across eleven states. He partnered with Lan in Lanmark Productions, and joined her at Tiger by the Tail. Independently he also did video and audio productions for a variety of clients in the area, and is now part of Tiger Lily Gallery.
